Mission Statement
Paul Outreach Services, Inc., a 501©(3) nonprofit corporation, established in April 2002, provides aid to low-income individuals and families throughout Alabama to encourage, promote, and stimulate individual and community growth in area of food insecurity and education. Our vision emphasis is based on encouraging low-income individuals and families to strive toward becoming productive members of society and demonstrate progress toward the alleviation of poverty and illiteracy.

Services
Paul Outreach Services, Inc. program objective is to initiate programs that will stimulate, encourage, and promote positive self-worth and healthy lifestyles. POSI’s vision is to provide programs that will include, but are not limited to the following:
1. Feeding Programs
To provide food for individuals and families who are in need.
- POSI partners with the Heart of Alabama Food Bank (HAFB) to provide food through a CSFP, Community Supplemental Food Program, for seniors 60 years and older, and through Mobile Food Pantries. These programs feed hundreds of individuals and families living in Montgomery, Barbour, and Pike County areas of Alabama.
2. Educational Programs
- Provides seasonal educational scholarships to college students.
- Alabama State University Student Selfcare Essentials Program, Montgomery, AL, provides personal care bag items monthly to 50 -100 male/female students to include soap, deodorant, toothpaste, bodywash, body lotion, body wipes, mouthwash, and female care items – maxi pads and tampons. Selfcare items may vary.
