Mission Statement

Paul Outreach Services, Inc, a nonprofit 501©(3) corporation, was organized in April 2002 to provide shelter/homes and services assistance to the homeless, low-income individuals, and families. This nonprofit ministry administers programs that will encourage, promote, and stimulate individual and community growth, housing, and development. Program emphasis is placed upon encouraging individuals, families, and youth-at-risk in inner-city communities to strive toward becoming responsible, productive members of society and will demonstrate progress toward the alleviation and elimination of poverty, illiteracy, and toward recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. The corporation partners with other agencies, organizations, and business leaders that serve to reinforce its program goals and objectives that serve to stimulate community growth and development and to encourage and promote positive self-worth, communication, and healthy lifestyles.

Founder

Minister Stephanie A. Paul is a member and ordained minister of Fresh Anointing House of Worship, Montgomery AL, under Bishop Kyle & Apostle Kemi Searcy. Minister Paul serves as their Assistant WIMI (Women In Ministry International) Outreach Coordinator which organizes and oversees all outreach operations of the ministry. WIMI’s global mission is to empower, edify, and encourage women throughout our nation, who are called into the ministry, to reach their prophetic destinies.

Ms. Paul is the Founder & Executive Director of Paul Outreach Services, Inc. (POSI), a nonprofit public benefit 501©(3) corporation established in April 2002. POSI’s overall mission is to provide aid and housing to low-income and disadvantaged individuals and families, the homeless, released prison inmates, veterans, and youth-at-risk, to help them toward a life of self-sufficiency. POSI’s vision is to administer programs that encourage, promote, and stimulate community growth and development throughout the State of Alabama.

POSI, in partnership with the Montgomery Housing Authority, currently serves in the Gibbs Village Housing Community to help stimulate Youth/Parent and Senior involvement to effectively work together in serving their community through various community activities. POSI has previously conducted Youth Christian Bible Study Sessions, Witnessing & Evangelism Outreach, Neighborhood Cleanups, Community Festivals, Back-To-School Festivals, and Christmas Toy Giveaways in the Gibbs Village Community in Montgomery AL.

, , POSI also partners with the Montgomery Area Food Bank (MAFB) to conduct Mobile Food Pantries, Gibbs Community Food Cooperative Giveaways, a School Pantry Program, and a CSFP (Commodity Supplemental Food) Program which feeds hundreds of individual and families monthly throughout the Montgomery and Pike County areas of Alabama. Ms. Paul currently serves on the MAFB Advisory Board and was recently selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the MAFB.

Minister Paul serves as a Board Member of Operation Evangelism Inc., Canton GA, under Founders/CEO, Evangelists Jim and Laura Bush, which train churches nationally to go out into communities and win souls for Jesus Christ. Minister Paul as April 2019 partnered with Mrs. Stephanie Bradley, Founder & Director, of Be Active, Inc., Prattville AL, to form the HOPE (Helping Opportunity to Perform Effectively) Truancy Program. The HOPE Truancy Program, under the authority of the Autauga County Juvenile Court, under Judge Joy Booth, works with assigned truant students, parents/families to address and alleviate truancy & family custody cases that may be affecting their self-esteem, educational well-being, and family stability.

Minister Paul is the oldest daughter of 4 siblings to the late Dr. Willie J. and Magnolia Ivory Paul. Dr. Willie Paul, a retired Major in the Air Force, previously served as Pastor, St. Stephens Baptist Church, Montgomery Al, for 18 years, and served as a state elected board member for 8 years to the Alabama State Board of Education. She and her siblings are very blessed and highly favored by God to carry on their rich family legacy of serving in education and communities throughout the State of Alabama. Minister Paul through her journey is very blessed to have an extended loving family of 12 God-children.

Paul Outreach Services, Inc. (POSI) is a nonprofit 501©(3) corporation organized in 2002 to provide shelter/homes to homeless, low-income individuals, and families and administers programs that encourage, promote, and stimulate individual, community growth and development through educational, public, and charitable contributions. Program emphasis is placed upon encouraging individuals and families to strive toward becoming responsible, productive members of society, and demonstrating progress toward the alleviation and elimination of poverty, conditions of poverty, illiteracy, and toward individual recovery from alcohol and drug abuse. POSI’s vision is to provide programs that will include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Programs for Homeless and Low Income Individuals and Families with Children

To provide safe shelter/homes for homeless, low-income individuals, and families with children which includes housing, meals, drug, and medical screening, spiritual guidance, and professional, job readiness, life skills, and home budget counseling, and GED training and testing.

2. Programs for Youth-At-Risk, Adults, Veterans, and Seniors

To provide various after-school and life enrichment programs within inner-city communities to youth, adults, veterans, and seniors which include, but is not limited to, remedial, tutorial, life skills, job readiness, home budgeting, and social enrichment classes.

The corporation partnerships with other agencies, organizations, and businesses that serve and reinforce its program goals and objectives in encouraging and striving toward community growth and development and in promoting self-worth, positive, and healthy lifestyles such as:

A) Law Enforcement agencies to help develop community-based strategies and encourage neighborhood watch programs to reduce and eliminate crime and drug trafficking.

B) Organizations that train youth in crime and substance abuse prevention, abstinence, and alternatives to teen violence.

C) Youth and adult correctional facilities or detention homes to serve released prison inmates.

D) Job Corps Centers and other agencies to provide educational assistance in obtaining GED training and testing, trade or associate degrees, and job counseling, training, and placement.

E) Outreach organizations that serve the homeless, low income, veterans, and those recovering from addictions.

F) Agencies, churches, ministries, and business leaders that strive toward stimulating community growth and development.
